Abstract

The work does a review of the engravings known in the area of the Southeast Spain, so much of prehistoric epoch as more recent. The analysis of its morphology and technologies of work are a valid element to distinguish some from a chronological and cultural point of view. Its spatial distribution linked to road links or to zones of pastures might indicate a narrow relation of this type of elements with cattle activities, safely from the Copper and Bronze Age.
