Abstract

New findings from the chalcolithic defended settlement, with oval huts, of Les Moreres (Crevillente, Alicante) include bell-beaker ware, copper awls, a Palmela point, and a tanged dagger, and relate the site to the copper/early bronze age complex of 2600-2100 B.C. which extends from the Algarve, across Andalusia, to southeastern Spain.
