Abstract

In this study we publish two Latin inscriptions from Totana (Murcia). The first one is a funeral inscription, dating from about the end of the 2nd century or the beginning of the 3rd century AD, found in the town centre. This inscription is connected with other five ones, which were published by Hübner (CIL) in the last century, but are disappeared now. This group of inscriptions shows the importante of the Roman settlement in the place where the
town of Totana is situated nowadays. The second inscription is a falce, probably made at the beginning of this century, of a Latin inscription from Murgi (El Egido, Almería).
