Abstract

A biographical study on Juan Cuadrado Ruiz (1886-1952) and his archaeological research in Totana (Murcia) and Almería, where he was the first director of its Archaeological Museum. We emphasize the excavation of the calcolitic site called Los Blanquizares de Lébor in Totana, as well as the location of many other sites in Murcia and Almena. Besides, he participated in the organization of the Archaeological Congresses of South-East Spain (CASE). We provide a list of his historical writings.
