Abstract

A stratigraphic study, where can be found an amount of four chronological sequences, each one in association with a group of related structures, detailed in the discoveries of the punic
wall excavation in Cartagena:
- lrt Building up of the wall (2nd half, III century B.C.)
-2"* Utility as a fortified place (last fifth of III century B.C.)
-3rd Partial use of the walled enclosure first period of romanization and re-utilization of the structures (last Republican age)
-4Ih Pantheons and funeral structures (2" half XVIII century).
