Abstract

There is documentary evidence OS three different constructive stages associated to the development of the Roman enclave in Aguilas. The foundational stage dates back to Augustan time and it is ralated to the building of different doinus (partially documented). The second stage is characterized by the setting of the Rornan baths (the second ones found in the town) in Antoninus time (112 s. 11 century A.D.) and lasted, at least, until the IV century A.D.) The third stage corresponds to the setting of a pottery factory operating until the V century A.D.
