Abstract

The recent discovery of the Dontus of the Fortune and its archaeological study has been an important advance to know the roman house and the urbanization of the city. The structure of
this dornus brings us a valuable information about the domestic architecture of the city's buildings. The articulation of the insula where is the house and its comparasion with the others sectors in the city have permitted to define some characteristics about the space, public and private in Carthago Nova.
