Abstract

The plane burial mound barrow made with stones of some tombs in the necropolis of "Collado y Pinar de Santa Ana", one of them staired, can be considered as the precedent of princely Iberian tombs that was studied by Emeterio Cuadrado. The structure of
other tombs is also similar to Iberian ones. In this paper, dedicated to this prominent researcher, we study the chronological and cultural position of this type of barrow both in the mentioned necropolis and in the neighborhoodS Late Bronze Age-Early Iron Age.
