Abstract

Late Pleistocene archaeological remains have been repporred over a Turolian alluvial fan surface (El Chorrico Seccion). This allows us to stablish a approach to the erosive processes suffered by this surface during Late Pleistocene. On this matter an stratigraphic study and physico-chemical properties and mineralogical analyses of the sediments have been determined. It seems archaeological remains were embedded in a silt-clayed matrix or colluvial surface, that was truncated by secondary erosive processes (overland flow). Today expresion of these processes are a pediment surface covered by a stone pavement coming from the truncated layer.
