Abstract

The pregnancy of 1009 cows has been studied through a five years period, and it has been observed that an eight per cent of them presented signs of estrus in spite of being pregnant. Of these, fifteen per cent showed two estrus, and five per cent three estrus. These cows showed the same signs in sucessive pregnancies. It has not been found a relationship betwen this fact and the sex of the offspring.
