Abstract
Complement fixation test (CFT) and indirect immunofluorescence test (IFI) with clamidial antigen were camed out with 970 ovine serum samples and 496 caprine serum samples: 25,05% of ovine sera and 14,31 of caprine sera were positives by CFT, the IFI showed positive results in all positive sera by CFT with I/40 titer or more, and only in 52,17% of sera wich were positives at I/20 dilution by CFT. Active Clamidiosis was presented in the 50% of ovine flocks and in the 16.66% of caprine flocks, in the remains flocks, the clamidial infection appeared as latent infection.
