Abstract

This text analyses the Revista de Pedagogía (1922-1936) as to its goals, material traits, editors, collaborators, and relations with the New Education Fellowship. This analysis is carried out in the context of the pedagogical and school process of modemization that took place in Spain in the first three decades of the X:Xth century, as well as in its relations to the ideas and educational policy of the II Republic. Sorne consequences of the civil war in the educational field ar shown, and among them, the exterior and interior of !hose were the actors of this intelectual and pedagogical adventure.
