Educación y medio ambiente: la importancia de las relaciones hombre-medio

Abstract

In approaching Environmental Education it is necessary to reflect beforehand on existing relations and the possible attemative relations between man and the enviromnent. Given the conceptual size given to the environment, the relations between men would remain integrated, at the sarne time, in the environment itself. Sorne relations that are generally characterised by conflict must be understood, from a positive perspective, as an opportunity to re-examine them with the intention of overcoming situations of incquality, exploitation and violence, towards a more harmonious and just reality and peace.
