Abstract

The nature and limits of the historical discourse, its shaping itself, and even the possibility of recovering the past, have been questioned in the latter years by those who from different approaches have analysed the relations between language and reality, texts and contexts. This paper puts forward and comrnents on sorne of the questions expounded to the historical discourse by the linguistics turn, the textual analogy and the theory of receptions, as well as the narrative character of the historical discourse opposed to other ones, specially to the literary or fictional discourses. All of which applied and referred to the educational historical discourse.
