Abstract

The human right to education, being a natural, inprescriptible rigth, with its double valence (rigth and duty ), with its progressive and historical manifestation in defense of human dignity, acquires its most precise signification when it is analized within a specific sociopolitical reality. Ali social furces, political parties and regimes assign to themselves the defense of the human rigth, but present them using a rhetoric that renders them a concept of a most malleable signification and is adjusted to their struggle fur the power or is consolidation. From this perspective, the study in cuestion undertanes the analysis of the rigth to education and of national-catholicism educative policy, under whose ideology and legal ordinance the political functionality of school, teaching function and science itself shave their most emphatic indoctrinating signification, in the service of the institutionalized ideology as a source ofpower.
