Abstract

The pedagogic theory ofthe 20th century recognices the primacy ofthe democratic and social values (the universal declaration ofthe human rights, 1948) and therefore; the necessity of studying haw and why are educated citizens in a different way. Im fact, a patriacal society establishes differences in treatment, which are arranged in order regarding the sex (male or female ), based on biological arguments and the concept ofhuman nature, at the san1e time it punishes the transgresion of the roles. However, the human being (social being) is made inside of a society which teaches him/her to be a man or a woman, to create his/her sexual identity. In this text we analyse sorne of the psycological and sociological contributions more relevan! of this process of sexual identification which starts in the family and the school and so we try to think over the relevance of recreate the academic curriculum and the transmission of the genre in the families from democratic values like the respect to the differences and not to arrange the sexual roles in order.
