Abstract

Twenty three fungal taxa: 9 Coelomycetes. 5 Hyphomycetes, 5 Ascomycotina, 4 Urediniomycetes, fruiting on autochtonous or cultivated plants of the Campo de Cartagena (South-East Spain) are described. New records for South-East Spain are: Phoma olivarum, Phyllosticta adusta, Cladosporium herbarum, Stemphylium botriosum, Torula oleae, Podosphaera tridactyla, Pleospora asphodeli and Tranzschelia discolor. Four new combinations: Pseudodiplodia oleaginea (Sacc.) Gallego & Pedreño, P. passeriniana (Thüm.) Gallego & Pedreño, Sclerosragonospora sabaleos (Ces.) Gallego & Pedreño and Sphaeropsis solierii (Mont.) Gallego & Pedreño are proposed. Data on anamorphiteleomorph connections are furnished. A host-index is included. The most interesting characteristics of Deuteromycotina and Ascomycotina are illustrated.
