PHENOLOGICAL NOTES ON THE CARABIDAE (COLEOPTERA) FRORN THE LBERIAN PENINSULA

Abstract

New data about the phenolagy of lh carabid species from the Iberian Peninsula are reported. They have been recorded along three years in the western Central System. These species have been grouped ir1 differeiii phenological models attendiiig to THIELE (1977) breeding patterns. Similar annual cycles to the ones described by other authors for Nebriu salina Fairmaii-e & Laboulbéne. 1854. Platysma nigrita (Fabricius. 1792). Anchus ruficornis (Goeze. 1777). Calathus mollis (Marsham. 1802) and C. Melanocephalus (Linné. 1758) are confirmed in the study area. A first approximation on their phenology is given for most of the remaining species.
