THE ADAPTATIONS OF PLANTS IN THE LITTORAL SAND DUNES OF SE SPAIN

Abstract

As a result of studies on the flowering plants and vegetation in the sand dunes of Southeastern Spain, some observations have been made on the main morphological adaptations of the psammophilous plants. These adaptations have originated in order to resist substratum mobility, aerial salinity and wind effect.
