Abstract

A new species of the genus Monoctonus Haliday, 1833 from León (Spain) is described: M. hispanicus sp. n.; this species attacks Nasonovia (Neokakimia) sp. living on Saxifragaceae. Moreover, the status of Paramonoctonus Stary, 1959 is commented.
