Abstract

The biological control of the plagues in the agriculture is inside the tasks prioritized by the Cuban government by the economic thing that it is and for what represents in the conservation of the Environment. It is political of the country to maintain, to diversify and to generalize this center, for what all that concerns to this, is important. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the biological means in way integrated in the control of plagues in the cane of sugar and other cultivations. For they were carried out it evaluations under laboratory conditions, in farmers’ properties and in the bank of Seed of the Station of Investigations of the Cane of Sugar Havana-Pinegrove of the River. In the different means the percent of parasitism was evaluated and of virulence. The application of biological such controls allowed during the last years to benefit more than 10,000.00 there is, being able to diminish to the maximum the application of chemical products with a superior cost to 25 000.00 CUC. It is recommended to use the integrated handling of plagues in cane and other cultivations in all the areas in exploitation economic producers of foods.
