Call for papers: "Ibn Arabi e Sufismo entre Ocidente ibérico e espaço lusófono/ "Ibn Arabi y el sufismo entre el Occidente ibérico y el espacio lusófono"/"Ibn Arabi and Sufism between the Iberian West and the Portuguese-speaking world"

Desde el Consejo Editorial de la Revista el Azufre Rojo buscamos artículos, notas de investigación y reseñas para publicar en el siguiente número. El eje temático del siguiente número girará en torno a temas  que conecten el legado de Ibn ʿArabī desde el occidente ibérico de trasfondo místico hasta el extremo del occidente (el garb) portugués, englobando desde lo medieval a lo actual. 

Buscamos  investigadores/as y estudiosos/as a que quieran publicar acerca de  la presencia, influencia  y resonancia del pensamiento de Ibn ʿArabī (m.1240) en el contexto del Occidente ibérico, su  herencia cultural andalusí en la Península  y su proyección hacia el mundo lusófono (traducción, recepción y reinterpretación moderna de Ibn ʿArabī en lengua portuguesa).

Desde un enfoque transversal que trasciende el horizonte espiritual del Occidente andalusí y  que puede leerse también en la actualidad como una fuente de diálogo con las tradiciones filosóficas, teológicas y literarias que conforman el imaginario ibérico y lusófono, desde Portugal a Brasil.

The Editorial Board of El Azufre Rojo magazine is seeking articles, research notes and reviews to publish in the next issue (in Italian, Portuguese or Spanish). The thematic focus of the next issue will revolve around topics that connect the legacy of Ibn Arabi from the mystical Iberian West to the far west (the garb) of Portugal, encompassing everything from the medieval to the present day.

We are seeking researchers and scholars who wish to publish on the presence, influence and resonance of the thought of Ibn ʿArabī (d. 1240) in the context of the Iberian West, his Andalusian cultural heritage in the Peninsula and its projection into the Lusophone space (translation, reception and modern reinterpretation of Ibn ʿArabī in the Portuguese language).

From a cross-disciplinary approach that transcends the spiritual horizon of the Andalusian West and can also be read today as a source of dialogue with the philosophical, theological and literary traditions that make up the Iberian and Lusophone imagination, from Portugal to Brazil.
